The Demonic Sins |

According to early Christian demonologists, a list of seven demons had specific control
over each of the seven deadly sins, with the powers of inducing men and
women to commit these. However, the Catholic church gives us an extended
hierarchy, which is described below. The Seven Deadly Demons and the Seven
Deadly Sins were:
You will notice that in the traditional viewpoint of the Catholic Church Lucifer does not equal Satan. Accordingly, they were thought to be two separate spirits, and thus acquired two different sins. For Further information according to different authors, see the Classifications of Demons page.
Catholic Church Statement on Fallen Angels (Demons):"These beings, because of pride, did not return God's love. God did not destroy them, but permits them a limited scope of activity. Their condition is permanent for no creature can turn away from the perfect good of the beatific vision once he has come to enjoy it, and no additional reflection could change the mind of a purely spiritual being who has turned away." Source: Catholic Online - Angels The following shows the three hierarchies of demons and sins, as come from the Catholic church today! I took this from a priest's site. He sounded so fanatic and obsessed, as if obsessed by a demon himself. His site was full of bullshit like these below (I'm sorry, I passed judgment after all, but this "sins not covered by other devils" sounds hilarious) that I couldn't help bringing this over here:
(I promised I would not pass judgement, but this is as "too much" as the Malleus is. Such viewpoints and the people who hold them are the cause of almost every "evil" in this world, including wars and famine, and also the unspeakable AIDS outbreaks that plagues Africa of late. The facade of the righteous does not cover any of the disease such ideas, such minds and their intentions bring. I am not a Demon worshipper, but I can understand even Satanists and their views when they have to deal with such increment.) Black Vine |
